Sujata Shrestha participated “Sustainability, SDGs and Global Challenges” workshop held on 3-5 December 2019 in Gebze, Turkey. The workshop was jointly organized by The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS), and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). The workshop aims to raise awareness on SDGs and the associated challenges faced by humanity globally and to build the capacity of young scientists and researchers in the Least Developed Countries (LDCs). It was focused on three crucial sustainability issues -biodiversity, energy, and climate change. The presentations were delivered by international experts on the related subject, which was followed by interactive discussion sessions among the participants. Sujata was selected as one of the participants from the fourteen countries.
