Dr. Resham Thapa-Parajuli is Lecturer at the University of Hull, UK from where he received his PhD in economics in 2018. Before his academic journal to the UK, he served as a Lecturer in Economics at the Central Department of Economics, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He was an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. He also served to the Government of Nepal at the capacity of the Member Secretary to Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council. He holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics and MA in Economics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and has completed professional courses in econometrics and a post-graduate certificate in research.

Dr. Thapa has been publishing in the areas of environmental resources, natural resource economics, climate change, international trade, health and education, remittance, informal sector. Teaching is his passion. He has growing interests in CGE Modelling, Impact Evaluation, CBA, Green Growth Trade-offs, Green Governance, and Scenarios development. Recently, 'Systems Thinking for Positive Peace in SDG's Era' is arresting him. He loves sports and plays volleyball at the University of Hull.
