Conducting research on various topics in GRAPE project area of west Nepal

In collaborate with the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), Global Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (GIIS) has been undertaking the following research works in the GRAPE project areas:

    1. Conduct research on understanding resilience and interlinkages in rural agri-food nexus including Agriculture, Forest, Water, Energy nexus
    2. Map spring shed for sustainable and socially inclusive springs management through capacity building measures and stakeholders’ engagement
    3. Understand factors affecting adoptions of selected climate resilient agricultural solutions
    4. Validate the multi-year climate change activities and estimating the Agro-climatic indices of tomato by changing the climate change adaptation measures
