Shirish Maharjan is a computer engineer, researcher, programmer, and skilled individual with a background in both information engineering and computer science. He completed his Master's in Information Engineering and Computer Science from Hochschule Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences (HSRW), Germany in 2021, and his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pokhara University in Nepal. Shirish has experience working with large datasets using various packages of R and Python programming languages, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Datawrapper, and SPSS. He is also proficient in utilizing Geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine (GEE).
In addition to his technical skills, Shirish has also provided multiple remote sensing training on Google Earth Engine, QGIS, and R to forest rangers and government officials in various provinces of Nepal through the coordination of the Forest Research and Training Center (FRTC). His experience stretches across a wide range of Nepalese regions in terms of data collection and field visits.
Shirish is an avid traveler, always eager to discover new places and experience different cultures. He finds excitement in the unknown and enjoys immersing himself in local customs and ways of life. He likes to watch and play football, hike, cycle, and take photographs
