Anush is research intern at GIIS and is passionate about biodiversity and wildlife conservation, with a strong commitment to bridging academic research and grassroots community needs through innovative research. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from the Institute of Forestry, Pokhara Campus.He was awarded a thesis grant by the Integrated Landscape Management to Secure Nepal’s Protected Areas and Critical Corridors (ILaM) Project for his research on human-wildlife conflict assessment. Anush’s research interests include wildlife biology, forest management, wildfire studies, and the utilization of modern technologies and tools to address wildlife trade, as well as developing sustainable solutions to Human-Wildlife Conflict.

Outside of academics, He enjoys birdwatching, jungle walks, traveling to new places, and exploring nature documentaries to stay inspired by global conservation efforts.
