Rinchen Sangmo Ghale is a research intern at GIIS and a 4th-year undergraduate Environmental Science student at Kathmandu University. Her research interests focus on sustainability, biodiversity conservation, urban ecology and planning, zero-waste living, and environmental anthropology, with a particular emphasis on ethnoecology. Rinchen has experience in climate data analysis using MS Excel, Google Colab, and QGIS, as well as content and creative writing as the Chief Editor of her departmental club, NSCS (Nature and Social Concern Society).

In her free time, she enjoys trekking and exploring new places, documenting experiences through photography and writing, and creating art through drawing and painting.
